I loved Embracing Trouble, Book 1, and impatiently waited for Noah's love story - and man, oh man, it's a fast-paced, suspenseful, gut-wrenching and sexy as hell ride. It's a stand alone but if you haven't read Book 1, I recommend you do first. Noah is a badass fighter who is as sweet as he is sex on a stick. He falls hard for mysterious Ivy - her story is very dark and as she slowly allows herself trust Noah - it's them against the world as everything around them spirals out of control with lies, scandal, manipulation & revenge. Give this series a try, you will not be able to put it down and you will adore all the secondary characters, too. I told Dee that I NEED Will & Janey's story like yesterday!

Escaping Trouble Excerpt: Meet Noah & Ivy
“Are you going to tell me what that was about?” he murmured into the top of my head.
“No,” I whispered into his warm chest. Where would I even begin? There was only so much I could recall before fear took control of my mind and rendered me broken and crazed. He had just experienced some of it and I didn’t want him to see any more of it. I wanted to warn him again, prove to him that he was wasting his time with me.
He kept rubbing my back and at the same time, lowering my defenses further. I suddenly whispered, “I will never escape my past.”
“You will,” he returned. “Give me time and I will help you escape it forever.”
His words were like balm to my battered self and I enjoyed them for just a moment before I shut the feelings off again.
“I’m scarred for life. You can’t remove my type of scars.”
He pulled my face up to meet his eyes again, his thumb caressing my cheek. I could see his determination and the level of care he had for me and past instincts would have made me run. Now, as I stayed in his arms, drinking him in, I couldn’t comprehend the power he suddenly had over me. He was making me feel and I wasn’t running away.
“I’ll do whatever it takes. You just have to trust me.”
“I don’t do trust,” I murmured to him.
“I promise to change that, too.”

Dee grew up in Melbourne, Australia and lives with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include hiking (not really), drinking copious amounts of wine (yes, that one is true), reading books that just cannot be put down (even if the world is ending), seeing bands and enjoying her family.
She can usually be found in her own world in the early hours of the morning, writing while listening to Deftones and breathing life into her characters. She loves to write New Adult/Contemporary fiction and understands there is nothing better than a bad boy with a good heart.
